Machine to Man-Malayankunju(Movie Review)

Image
Even though the film is marketed as a survival thriller, this is not just that. The survival thriller part blends into the narrative of the story, Writer Mahesh Narayanan and Director Sajimon has done an exceptional job to bring this piece to theaters, its most suitable form of experience. The story is a character arc of Anikuttan, who is a self employed electronics repair man, portrayed by Fahadh Fasil and for his transformation into a man, a natural calamity is the aid. In less than 2 hours this film lets you travel with Anikuttan through his anger, sorrow and later rejuvenation. Another USP of the movie was return of A R Rahman into malayalam after 28 years and he does sets the mood, especially in the second half, though at times the BGM feels over the top for the scene. This is must watch in theaters. Rating: 3.8/5

That was some List-The Terminal List(Series Review)

Image
Chris Pratt, coming as producer and actor in this latest military, action flick, that was some news and boy, Terminal List is lit as anything. The narrative, direction, cinematography was exquisite. the story itself goes through twists and turns that takes the audience to have a gasp twice every episode. The fact that they did not lag the couple of episodes was quite remarkable(Some series extends to another season as well). This is a series you definitely don't want to miss if you are a fan of thriller action genre. Chris Pratt does a fantastic job in his role so as other actors. Great appreciation should go to action and stunt choreographers, those were insane. Rating: 4/5

lacked thunder - Thor Love and Thunder(Movie Review)

Image
May be it was due to the large expectations, a thor Movie after the Thanos phase. Anyways, new Thor standalone failed to tick all boxes. The prospect of having a great actor like Christian Bale in negative shade also raise the expectations exponentially, but none met the standards. It was more like a simple movie, much focused on the "love" side of the title. There is nothing to pinpoint and say the fault, but may be the ending, or ruthlessness of villain. On the good side, lot of humour and action sequences were kickass. And bringing Jane-Thor love story to completion, that was a relief for fans. Overall, expected more. May be its difficult to bring a villain like Thanos anymore for MCU. Rating: 3/5

Life is a Game - Alice in Borderland(Series Review)

Image
What happens if your whole life suddenly turns into a game. Alice in Borderland is a fantasy thriller series in which the whole city(as far as we know)turns into a game, and only those who win games will get additional 2 or 3 days or life(or Visa). It is written beautifully. The filmmaker has made sure that the audience will always feel at the edge of their seats. Each game is carefully made and its definitely exciting. Each character has a definite role to play, and the behavior is backed by good backstory. Season 1 ends when the whole mystery of life turning into this dystopian game reveals its first knot. Excited to see more in the second season. Rating 3.5/5

Netflix's biggest stranger things ever - Season 4 Part 2 Review

Image
Things keep getting bigger, and better. We almost feels like this is going to end and then whoaa.. Things change as it had never been. Season Part 2 is more emotional, more action and what not. Eddie and gang stole the part 2 almost with their daring adventure plan to kill Vecna and that was the best part of season 2. With too many emotional scenes to flow, Duffle brothers did not allow audience to lose track of the bigger picture. The growth of stranger things almost amuses everyone, and definitely it is now one of the favourite TV series of most. Outside a little confusion with Dr Brenner and Nina Project, everything was too good. Visual Effects, Background music and the acting were top notch from most actors. And with the most freaking metal concert of upside world, Eddie played his superhero role as well. With Season 5 on the line, fans cant keep calm for sure Rating: 4/5
